Resumo
A indústria de placas cerâmicas para revestimento necessita de informações istematizadas a fim de facilitar o armazenamento, recuperação, acesso e uso da informação sobre a placa cerâmica e seus locais de aplicação ou usos. Na pesquisa estabelece-se as diretrizes para a criação de um sistema de classificação facetada sobre placas cerâmicas para revestimento e seus usos baseando-se nos princípios teóricos da classificação facetada e nas diretrizes das normas da International Standard Organization, a ISO TR 14177 e ISO DIS 12006-2, ambas tratando da classificação da informação na indústria da construção civil. A pesquisa contribui na fundamentação teórica e conceitual para a concepção de sistemas de classificação. Na estruturação do sistema de classificação sobre placas cerâmicas e seus usos, utiliza-se o método analítico sintético, que consiste em identificar, mediante análise de conceitos, os diferentes aspectos contidos na literatura sobre o assunto. São descritas as diversas etapas para elaboração do sistema de classificação, explicitando-se cada uma com seus respectivos desdobramentos. Como resultados, apresenta-se a estrutura do sistema de classificação em suas categorias, classes e subclasses. No sistema de classificação, enfatizam-se duas categorias de informação, as placas cerâmicas e os locais de aplicação definidos como uso. Apresentam-se um exemplo de codificação por meio dos símbolos de notação; um índice e um glossário para facilitar a codificação e recuperação da informação. Conclui-se que o uso da classificação facetada é recomendado para a organização da informação na área da construção civil, devido ao fato que, esta se aplica a uma área do conhecimento, tendo, portanto, um caráter de especialização, pois possibilita a descrição dos assuntos com maior especificidade. Constata-se, ainda, que a estruturação do sistema sobre as placas cerâmicas para revestimento e seus usos pode ser expandida e também servir de base para desenvolvimento de sistemas de classificação para os demais produtos da construção civil, uma vez que na tese se apresenta um conjunto familiar de evidências a partir das quais pode-se construir a estrutura básica de classificação de qualquer assunto. Destaca-se a necessidade urgente da atualização e complementação da norma de especificação sobre placas cerâmicas para revestimento, no que se refere a identificação dos valores das diversas características técnicas nos diferentes grupos de absorção, bem como a relação desses grupos com o local de aplicação ou uso da placa cerâmica
Abstract
The industry of ceramic tiles for covering needs systematized information in order to facilitate the storage, recovery, access and use of the information on the ceramic tile and their uses. In the research establish guidelines for the creation of a faceted classification system on ceramic plates for covering and their uses basing on the theorical beginnings of the faceted classification and in the guidelines of the standards of International Standard Organization, to ISO TR 14177 and ISO DIS 12006-2, both treating of the classification of the information in the industry civil construction. The research contributes in the theorical and conceptual basis to the conception of classification systems. In the structuring of the classification system on ceramic plates and their uses, the synthetic analytical method is used, that it consists of identifying, by analysis of concepts, the different aspects contained in the literature on the subject. The several stages are described for elaboration of the classification system, showing each one with their respective unfoldings. As results, the structure of the classification system in their categories, classes and subclasses. In the classification system, two categories of information, the ceramic plates and the defined application places are emphasized as use. They come a systematic of code through notational symbols; an index and a glossary to facilitate the code and recovery of the information. It is ended that the use of the faceted classification is recommended for the organization of the information in the area of the building site, due to the fact that, the area of the knowledge is applied, tends, therefore, a specialization character, because it makes possible the description of the subjects with larger specificity. It is still verified, that the structuring of the system on the ceramic plate and their uses can be expanded and appropriate and also to serve of base for development of classification systems for the too much products of the civil construction, a time that in the thesis if presents a familiar set of evidences from which can be constructed the basic structure of classification of any subject. It stands out the urgent need of the updating and complementation of the specification norm on ceramic plates for covering, in what it refers the identification of the values of the several technical characteristics in the different absorption groups, as well as the relationship of those groups with the application place or use of the ceramic plate
