Abstract

The pedagogic approach in the architectural field is suffering deep changes considering the impact that has been produced mainly by the CAD and multimedia procedures. An additional view to be taken into consideration is the challenge produced by the influence of advanced IT which since 1990-92, has affected positively the exchange of information among the academic environment. Several studies confirm these hypothesis, from the wide cultural spectrum when the digitalization process was emerging as an alternative way to data processing (Bateson 76) to the pedagogical-computational field (Papert 96). Therefore, the main hypothesis of our idea is, "if we are able to combine current design methods tutorials with the concept of "self-teaching", using a "text or a Web site or a CD ROM" as a digitalized historical reference system".
