Abstract

Propose: This work presents a diagnosis of the environmental conditions of the adjoining areas and the human confort, in the spaces of work in a building of classrooms in a university campus. The analyses evaluated the sun incident, the thermal conditions, the lighting and the intensity acoustics, as well as also the predominant winds, the resource of natural light that affect the adjoining areas of the same building. Methods: A monitoring was carried out "in situ" of data of temperature, air, relative humidity, luminances in the spaces and sonorous intensities. A scale of corresponding appraisal with numerical ranks was utilized given that the information, is presented in architectural plans, colors were assigned that appoint the environmental conditions of the spaces with each one of the criteria of evaluation with colors, assigning the blue color for very good values, the orange color for regular values and the red color for bad values. Findings: The diagnosis permits to draw an environmental map of the building, that describes the situations and permits to know what occurs in the spaces of work in different hours to the labor, and thus to be able to understand the cause of many of the environmental phenomena of the buildings.
